Mustafa Zahid cries!
Not many know that while recording the To Phir Aao song in Mumbai for the forthcoming film, Awarapan, Pakistani rock sensation Mustafa Zahid actually cried!
Those present at the recording were pleasantly surprised to see the 25-year old stud turning into a softie. Remarks an onlooker, "He asked for the lights to be turned off while recording the song. He sang the song in pitch darkness to get feeling into it. When he came out of the recording studio, his eyes were red."
When quizzed, Mustafa Zahid (in the UK days back), a bit hesitant at first, confesses, "It was an emotional moment for me. To Phir Aao was among my first compositions back in Pakistan. Mohit (Suri) wanted a lot of feeling in the song, as it appears in the film's climax. He wanted me to imagine the loneliness of roads. It was a high to be re-rendering my composition for a Mahesh Bhatt film."
Awarapan releases worldwide on June 29.

Very touching bit of info this on Mustafa Zahid; so is this song "aa bhi jaao." Awesome track. Dude sounds a bit like Atif Aslam.

there is more clarity in Musti's voice than Atif... I am a fan of Atif too but Musti has something different in his voice...

just watched movie and that song brought tears in my eyes impact is so strong that it reminds me ppl i lost in life:( great work wish u all the best!!! you have more clear voice then Atif Aslam and i am sure u will go on the top Inshallah

mustafa zahid you are the best singer I have heard in my life. your depth and emotions in the song are something I never heard before. Your song with the movie made me cry. I am your die hard fan for ever.

heyyy musti, you are sooo hot and cute, you make all pakistanis very proud, but i must say ,...tumhari gandi choice hai, kya is dunya mein tumhe pooja hi milli thi to fall in love with. pls for god sake.
