Bangladesh tour
Westwood FC going on a tour of Bangladesh for three-weeks to play five games in the Syhlet District.

Currently we play in the Oldham Sunday League and we have good links with local agencies and voluntary organisation as well as schools in the borough.
Westwood Fc play an important part in the local community organising youth training sessions every Saturday mornings.
We plan to travel to Bangladesh on 26 May.
The squad that is going is very young - the average age is 18-24 years old for some of the players it will be their first visit to Bangladesh.
The weather is Bangladesh is going to be very hotwith an average temperate of 35-40 degrees celsius.
The average crowd per game is going to be about 300-500 people because the passion for football in Bangladesh is very high and especially when they see a British team playing the interest increases.
It will take the players a few days to adjust to the weather.
Playing football in Bangladesh will help the players to gain experience in playing in hot conditions and well as improve fitness and stamina and adapt and learn different styles of football.
We went on a tour of Spain (Lloret de mar) last year playing 4 games in total. We even played a against a semi-pro side called Gerona FC and toured Nou Camp. It was a very successful tour, that's why the players want to go on tour again this year.
Everybody is excited, especially the younger players. For some it will also be their first visit 'back home' so we are hoping to get in some sightseeing as well and maybe even catch up with relatives.
In the meantime we're training hard as the Bnagladeshi players will have one advatnage over us and that is being able to play in very hot climate!
